Well…I must admit. We took the last week off from our normal running routine. You know how easy it’d be to quit since we didn’t run in over a week? For me…pretty darn easy.

We took the week off for a few different reasons. 1. I didn’t feel like running with such a fresh tattoo, especially since it was on my leg and was pretty large. 2. We went out-of-town and weren’t really sure how to occupy the kids while we were on our runs. Right now, we run around the park. They play…we run. Easy enough.

I’m glad I got my lazy butt up tonight and did it. I was dreading it. I thought it was going to be a lot harder since we’d taken that time off. Any other time, I’d probably just got out of routine and quit. I’m a big quitter when it comes to diet and exercise. It’s just so much easier to be lazy and eat junk. I hate to admit that, but it’s true.

I think I’m going to set a goal. I want to do a 5k. It’s something I’ve never done before and I really wanna do it!! I’m thinking about Thanksgiving day. I think it’d be the perfect day and I’d never forget my first 5k being on Thanksgiving. Plus, it gives us plenty of time to get ready.

I’m so excited just thinking about it!

I’m off to do some 5k research.

Hi again! Hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday with the family. We had a lazy day today and it was nice. Both kids stayed at grandmas house last night, so we slept in a little later than usual. Jeremy cooked homemade chicken noodle soup for lunch…it was delicious! I’ve been stuffed all day. We had to make a quick run to the grocery store and saw the sweetest little boy selling lemonade on the side of the road. We stopped and grabbed 4 cups of pink lemonade. It was surprisingly good!

We’re trying to get the boys back on their sleep schedules since school starts Thursday. We let them stay up later than normal this summer and it’s hard getting them back in routine. They are excited for school and I’m also ready to get started. We are homeschooling and I plan to share how our first day goes. Any of my followers homeschooling? I’d love to hear about it!

The boys rode bikes today as Jeremy and I went on a walk. We took a nice drive around town also. I enjoy the time I get to spend with my family. Family time is so important to us.

As long as I’m with my family…I’m a happy camper.

Well readers…I’ve got a few things that need to get done before we get to bed.

As I mentioned earlier, I hope you all had a fantastic day today.

I have been feeling crafty lately and needed some inspiration! When I came across this blog and saw the title of this post I knew it was exactly what I needed! Adding Festivity, the Lazy Way: Paper Wreath. Now this is something even I could handle!! It’s such a cute idea and thought I would share. I always have extra wrapping paper left over and never do anything with it…Until now! I have been trying to find neat ideas for left over wrapping paper, so if you have any to share please let me know!! Hope you like this post and try it out yourself!!
