Hello friends. It is officially November! Holy smokes….time is flying by. There is only 52 days until Christmas. 52!!! This is nuts.
I did a lot of work today. Not around the house. I’ve had dishes in the sink for 2 days now and they really need to get washed. I worked…did school…worked….worked….finally showered….took the kids to a movie….and back to work! Very fun and productive day.
We went to see Free Birds in 3D with Granny and my little cousin Trey. It was a cute movie, but we didn’t love it. Trey fell asleep for most of it and the boys were ready to leave an hour into it. It wasn’t really a great 3D movie. If you do see it in theatre, just shoot for the regular show. It’s not worth the extra money.
The Die Cut Crazy Holiday Blog Hop started today! I hope you have checked it out. The ladies have put together a lot of neat projects for everyone and there’s even prizes!! Everyone loves prizes! Make sure and take a look!
Today…what can I say about today? I can go ahead and apologize right now for this being a short post. It’s almost 1 am and Bonus just went to bed. I don’t know why he was up so late tonight. He was in bed early last night and up early this morning. My guess is he had a lot of sugar/soda at Gram Grams house. I had to drag him to come home. He loves getting spoiled by Gram Gram. I wondered today how long he’d stay if I didn’t pick him up. I think he’d stay for a week before he even thought about wanting to come back home. I’m not sure how I feel about that. Atticus hates being away and Bonus loves it. They are total opposites in every way possible.
We blew up the air mattress, the kids call it the bouncy bed, and had popcorn and movie night in the living room. It’s one of our favorite things to do and we haven’t done it much in the last few months. Sometimes we drag the kids mattresses in there and ‘camp out’ all night playing Wii, watching movies, and eating yummy snacks. Those are my favorite nights!
We’re supposed to get some much-needed rain tomorrow. I’m looking forward to the rain and staying inside. I don’t think it’s going to rain all day, but it’ll make for a great craft day. I have so much crafting to get caught up on. I missed a few birthdays while we were in Eureka, so I need to get cards made for the next time I see those people. If I were smart….I would of had them ready and mailed before our trip. Shame on me!!!!
I must get some sleep. I’m all kinds of tired.
We had the pleasure of having a date night tonight. The boys are at my mom’s house for the night and we decided to hit up a movie. We saw ‘We’re the Millers.’ It was hilarious. Seriously. It was a lot funnier than I expected. I heard its gotten some bad reviews, but I would recommend it to anyone that liked comedies.
After the movie was over we came home. It’s so quiet here without the boys. Lucy walks around and mopes when they’re not here. It’s kinda pitiful. I sure do miss them, but it’s nice to get some alone time with the hubby.
Jeremy is my best friend. So, lucky to have a husband that I enjoy being around. We have so much fun together. We’ve been together for 11 years and I think we have as much fun, if not more, than when we first started dating. I appreciate everything he does for us and our family. He’s a great dad to our kids and a great husband. Love you Jerms!!
We’ve been sidetracked from our couch to 5k. I think we will start that back up tomorrow. I really want to start focusing on our diets and exercise more. That’s my next big change and scariest for me. It takes so much dedication and I’m so afraid of failing at it. But, trying is better than doing nothing about it. Right?!
Off to bed! See you folks tomorrow.
Jeremy and I surprised the boys with a little night out tonight. We loaded up in the minivan and headed out to the movie theater! We’ve been waiting to see the movie Planes for a while now and thought it’d make for a great family fun night before school started. Let me just start out by saying, we had a great time tonight. I’m glad we went, but that movie was horrible. I thought maybe I was the only one that was disappointed with it, but even Atticus said it was boring.
Have any of you guys seen it? What were your thoughts?
This movie is worth a Redbox rental. Make sure and use your weekly free code when you get it.
We should have saved our $53 and done something else tonight.
In other news, I think we’ve decided to start school tomorrow. I signed the boys up on ABCMouse.com today. They are excited about learning on the computer. I think a mixture of that, paperwork, and fun learning activities we are going to have great success this year!
See ya tomorrow!
