Oh my goodness. I am back from my trip and I feel exhausted. It’s taken me a minute to get caught up on sleep and get motivated to do anything. I just want to relax. Tomorrow starts back on my normal routine. I did get some work done on the magazine today, but for the most part I’ve been trying to get laundry caught up and stuff around the house done.

We ordered the boys Halloween costumes yesterday! They are getting really excited about Halloween this year. I think they are finally at the ages where it’ll be fun to see everyone in their costumes and hopefully not be so shy when going up to doors. They are supposed to have a carnival here in town. I don’t know a specific date yet, but when the boys find that out they’ll be ecstatic. Bonus is always talking about how he wants to go to a real carnival!!

Erica Gibson took some pictures of the boys today. I can’t wait to see how they turned out! She had the cutest fall decor setup with hay bells, pumpkins, and mums. I wanted to load it up and bring it to my yard! I love having a photographer for a friend. The boys are comfortable with her and it makes it so much easier when it comes to photos. We tried to get her son Foster to get in a few pics, but he was not having it today!  Make sure and check out her website. She has some really great photos on there!! Maybe you’ll even come across some of us! 🙂

I’m off to bed. I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow. Glad to be back home and back to regular life. I missed Jeremy and the boys so much. Makes me thankful for them even more.

Happy Saturday friends! Today has been a great day!

Here’s a few things I did today.

*Woke up early and made pancakes and sausage for the family.

*Did all the laundry!

*Cleaned the house up a little bit.

*Ran some errands and grabbed snacks for the boys.

*Got the Halloween decor outside! (most of it anyway)

I got all that finished by 3 o’clock this afternoon. I was on a roll! We had family coming over so I wanted to get it all finished so I could enjoy my time with them.

The kids were really good today. Jeremy was in a great mood. The weather was nice and cool today. We had the windows open all day and it felt great! I love days like today. Relaxing and beautiful day.

The last two days I’ve been really focusing on my attitude and the way I talk to the kids. I don’t want to take my frustration out on anyone, especially them. I’ve realized I let things build up through out the day and naturally I hold it in until I’m home and release it on my husband and kids. They are my happy place and I want to make sure we are enjoying our time together all the time. It’s not fair to them and they deserve more, so I’m changing that about myself!

Both the boys fell asleep on me tonight. Look how precious they are.

I love my little men. It’s crazy to think one day they’ll be big and too busy for mommy. I need to soak it all up and take advantage of this time.

Have a relaxing Sunday!

Hi again! Hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday with the family. We had a lazy day today and it was nice. Both kids stayed at grandmas house last night, so we slept in a little later than usual. Jeremy cooked homemade chicken noodle soup for lunch…it was delicious! I’ve been stuffed all day. We had to make a quick run to the grocery store and saw the sweetest little boy selling lemonade on the side of the road. We stopped and grabbed 4 cups of pink lemonade. It was surprisingly good!

We’re trying to get the boys back on their sleep schedules since school starts Thursday. We let them stay up later than normal this summer and it’s hard getting them back in routine. They are excited for school and I’m also ready to get started. We are homeschooling and I plan to share how our first day goes. Any of my followers homeschooling? I’d love to hear about it!

The boys rode bikes today as Jeremy and I went on a walk. We took a nice drive around town also. I enjoy the time I get to spend with my family. Family time is so important to us.

As long as I’m with my family…I’m a happy camper.

Well readers…I’ve got a few things that need to get done before we get to bed.

As I mentioned earlier, I hope you all had a fantastic day today.

Oh Friday…how I love you.

Remember when Fridays were so happening? Like you always stayed up super late, maybe even went out with your friends. Those were the good old days. HUH?

Honestly I can’t wait to go to bed. I am tired! It’s 11 o’clock and I can barely stay awake.

I even made coffee and I just can’t stop yawning.

I am finally at the age where I can tell I’m feeling ‘older’. I know I’m not technically old. Well…maybe to a 16 year old. I thought 30 was old back in the day. It’s funny how things change. One day you’re young. The next you’re all grown up.

I had every intention of crafting tonight. Maybe once I finish this post I’ll get a spark of energy and decide to get moving. I have a card all laid out. Papers picked out and ready to cut. I just need the energy to get at the table and do it!! It’s Friday! I should be ready to party all night long! Where has my youth gone?

5 seconds later…

I’ll craft tomorrow. I have no plans. I am looking forward to crafting. I have so many cards I want to make. So many new things I want to try. I really want to get some new stamps. Maybe we can run to the craft store tomorrow?

Anyhoodles. I need some sleep.

Tomorrow I will share my crafts and let you know what me and the family are up too.

See ya then.
