Oh my word. I think I over did it today. I just sat down and my back and legs are so tired! At least the house is clean, last load of laundry is in the dryer, I’m 3/4 done with the DCC Holiday Issue, and tomorrow we get our new puppy! Oh yea!!! How great will this weekend be?! The boys are staying the night with GramGram tonight. I’m leaving bright and early in the morning to meet the lady with Juno. She is in Northwest Arkansas and was nice enough to meet us about 1/4 of the way. It knocks about an hour off the 4 hour drive. I’ve got the crate ready, a blanket, pee pad in case of accidents or car sickness (Lucy gets extremely car sick…hoping this one is a better passenger), collar and leash. I hope I’m not forgetting anything, but no worries. I’m just so ready to go…I hope I can get some sleep tonight. I hate when you are anxiously waiting and you lay in bed all night just tossing and turning! Super annoying!!! Maybe since I’m so worn out from house work and running around today, I’ll sleep like a baby. I can only hope.

OH! I wanted to share something with you guys! Lately, I’d say within the last few months, I’ve had oily hair. Not really all over…just at my roots. It’s like I could wash my hair, blow dry it, and it seemed like my roots were never washed. It was extremely annoying. My hair has never been that way. I couldn’t even wear my hair down, because I was afraid it was so obvious that it was embarrassing. So…what do I do? Well first I switched shampoo and conditioner thinking that would solve the problem. Wrong! It didn’t do anything. I was bummed. I gave it a few weeks and by this time I was fed up. What did I need to do? Buy some pricey shampoo? As much as I love professional shampoo, it’s just not always in my budget. For my last attempt I went straight to Pinterest. Why didn’t I think of that 2 months ago? I searched and searched and read other people’s blogs and websites. One thing came across and was reasonably priced so I decided to try it. Others had said it worked well for them and at less than $5 a bottle I wasn’t losing much by giving it a try.

Here’s what I tried.

NeutrogenaLet me just say….I freaking love this stuff. It works amazing!! I seriously could not be more impressed for it to cost a whopping $4 and some change. It says on the box to only use about once a week. It’s definitely not a shampoo you want to wash every day with. After one wash, I could tell it worked wonders. I waited a few days and gave it another wash and it is 100% back to where I wanted it to be. I am so happy to be able to straighten my hair and not pull it up in a bun or pony tail because my hair is nasty. Thank you Neutrogena!!

Here’s a picture from today after I straightened it.

HairI’ve been growing my hair out for a while now. I think the last time my hair was this long I was in 6th grade. Maybe elementary school…I don’t know. All I know is my hair finally feels good and I owe it all to Pinterest and this shampoo. Well and Jeremy….he actually bought the shampoo for me! If you’ve had hair problems like me, check this product out. I was skeptical, but it really works. It really gets all that build up that can leave your hair feeling gross and takes care of it in a jiffy. I found it at Target, but I’m sure most retailers carry it. It was a little hard to find, but just keep looking! It’s there somewhere.

Well, I better try to get some rest before my big day tomorrow. The boys are really looking forward to seeing their new puppy! I will make sure and post pictures tomorrow. Have a great weekend y’all!!

Work…Work…Work…I feel like that’s all I’ve done today. I guess I should feel accomplished, but honestly it just makes me feel behind! I guess I did get a lot done today, but not everything. I’ve got a few more jam-packed days ahead of me, but I can’t complain. I’ve decided this is what I want to do and I should be grateful to have made that decision. Most people hate their job…I really quite enjoy mine! (Most days!) We are working on a Free Holiday issue for Die Cut Crazy! I’m excited to get that finished and get to work on the other December issue that will also be coming out.

I’m trying to get most of my work finished before the weekend. It would be nice to not have the worry of work around me while we’re trying to get to know our new puppy!!! I think we’ve decided on the name Juno for our new family member. Jeremy is pretty set on that one and I don’t hate it!  I am really excited and anxious about getting her. Puppies are a lot of fun, but also a lot of work. I’m sure it’ll go smooth, but I like to worry about ridiculous things. (kidding, but true.)

I’m getting pretty tired and still need to jump in the shower. I think I’m done working for the evening and I have another full day of it tomorrow.

Enjoy your Thursday everyone. I will try to enjoy mine.

My goodness…I almost forgot to post tonight. I’m a busy little bee working away. Jerms and I had a few errands to run, so my granny watched the boys for a few hours. It was nice to get away by ourselves. It’s rare that we get that time, so I’m grateful for every chance. We had lunch and picked him and Atticus up some new pants. Other than that, we’ve just been working and getting things checked off our list. I think we have rain heading this way for the next couple of days. Should be gone in time for Halloween!

I have a million things to get done by Friday.Wish me luck!

I’m off to do a little more work, before I turn out the lights. Busy day week ahead.

Oh my goodness. I am back from my trip and I feel exhausted. It’s taken me a minute to get caught up on sleep and get motivated to do anything. I just want to relax. Tomorrow starts back on my normal routine. I did get some work done on the magazine today, but for the most part I’ve been trying to get laundry caught up and stuff around the house done.

We ordered the boys Halloween costumes yesterday! They are getting really excited about Halloween this year. I think they are finally at the ages where it’ll be fun to see everyone in their costumes and hopefully not be so shy when going up to doors. They are supposed to have a carnival here in town. I don’t know a specific date yet, but when the boys find that out they’ll be ecstatic. Bonus is always talking about how he wants to go to a real carnival!!

Erica Gibson took some pictures of the boys today. I can’t wait to see how they turned out! She had the cutest fall decor setup with hay bells, pumpkins, and mums. I wanted to load it up and bring it to my yard! I love having a photographer for a friend. The boys are comfortable with her and it makes it so much easier when it comes to photos. We tried to get her son Foster to get in a few pics, but he was not having it today!  Make sure and check out her website. She has some really great photos on there!! Maybe you’ll even come across some of us! 🙂

I’m off to bed. I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow. Glad to be back home and back to regular life. I missed Jeremy and the boys so much. Makes me thankful for them even more.

Guess what? I have absolutely nothing to write about. I am blogging for the simple fact that I made this commitment and I need to post today. Is this the most boring blog you’ve ever followed? If the answer is yes, please don’t comment!! 🙂 All I want to hear is how much you look forward to my posts…each and every day. Hahaha

I have a doctor appointment tomorrow. Hopefully this will be the last time I have my hand checked and I can be released. I know I’ve said that before, but I mean it this time! I thought my appointment was at 11…I realized at about 4 o’clock today that it’s actually at 8:50 am. What was I thinking? It’s an hour drive just to get there. I don’t want to get up that early!! I’m tired just thinking about it. I guess we will have the entire day free afterwards and I can’t complain too much about that.

There’s a Homecoming parade tomorrow at 2. Maybe I will take the boys to that and they can grab some candy! Homecoming was such an exciting week in high school. Your biggest decision was deciding on whose car you’d ride on in the parade. Those were the days. If we decide to go, I’ll try to snap a few pictures.

I don’t have much else to write about. I hope you all enjoy your Friday and the weekend coming up!

Hey everyone…I don’t have much to share tonight. We had a pretty good day, but I’m tired…my back hurts…I’m ready to turn out the lights and get some sleep.

Have you ever watched My Cat from Hell? This show is nuts. I get to watching it and I can’t turn it off. Some of these cats are crazy. We don’t have a cat, only room for our sweet Lucy pup right now. Bonus is such an animal lover…I assume we will get another animal of some sort sooner or later.

Well…I hate to drop the bomb…I’m just not in the mood to blog tonight. I think I’ll try and talk Jerms into a back massage.

Wish me luck.

Today…what can I say about today? I can go ahead and apologize right now for this being a short post. It’s almost 1 am and Bonus just went to bed. I don’t know why he was up so late tonight. He was in bed early last night and up early this morning. My guess is he had a lot of sugar/soda at Gram Grams house. I had to drag him to come home. He loves getting spoiled by Gram Gram. I wondered today how long he’d stay if I didn’t pick him up. I think he’d stay for a week before he even thought about wanting to come back home. I’m not sure how I feel about that. Atticus hates being away and Bonus loves it. They are total opposites in every way possible.

We blew up the air mattress, the kids call it the bouncy bed, and had popcorn and movie night in the living room. It’s one of our favorite things to do and we haven’t done it much in the last few months. Sometimes we drag the kids mattresses in there and ‘camp out’ all night playing Wii, watching movies, and eating yummy snacks. Those are my favorite nights!

We’re supposed to get some much-needed rain tomorrow. I’m looking forward to the rain and staying inside. I don’t think it’s going to rain all day, but it’ll make for a great craft day. I have so much crafting to get caught up on. I missed a few birthdays while we were in Eureka, so I need to get cards made for the next time I see those people. If I were smart….I would of had them ready and mailed before our trip. Shame on me!!!!

I must get some sleep. I’m all kinds of tired.
